Mary

Mary Lau , president and chief executive officer of the Retail Association of Nevada has been with the Association since 1983, when she served as secretary/treasurer and in 1987 took over the helm. Prior to that Ms. Lau was the controller for a North Lake Tahoe Casino.

Ms. Lau is a graduate of Sierra Nevada College, in Incline Village, Nevada.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth MacMenamin has been with the Retail Association of Nevada since 1999 and is Vice President of Government Affairs. Prior to this she was Manager of Carencro Physical Clinic in Louisiana.

Ms. MacMenamin graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Southwest Louisiana and later returned to obtain an Associates degree in Paralegal Studies. She moved to Nevada in 1999 and became involved in the political process through being employed at the Retail Association of Nevada.

Lea

Lea Tauchen, senior director of government affairs for grocery and general merchandise, has been with RAN since January 2005. Prior to that, she was a district manager for General Motors Corporation in the San Francisco/Hawaii market.

Lea is currently pursuing her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno.  She is also enrolled at the Institute for Organization Management, a professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she will earn IOM recognition.  Lea holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she majored in Logistics Management and minored in Computer Information Systems.

Bryan

Bryan Wachter, Director of Public and Government Affairs, joined the RAN team in January of 2007. Bryan manages RAN's Southern Nevada office while following taxation, transportation, and workers' compensation issues for the Association.  After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Piper

Piper Brown is currently the office manger for the Retail Association of Nevada (RAN). She has been with RAN since May 2010. Prior to moving to Nevada, Piper was an office manager for a lobbying firm in Sacramento, California for 11 years. She attended American River College in Sacramento studying business management. Piper is an active volunteer in her community and children's education.
